I’ve been loving Brecht Vandenbroucke’s Instagram stories recently. If you haven’t seen them I highly recommend it.
He has been posting seminar-style stories about anything from the meaning behind Jurassic Park (something he covers A LOT in his work), to ‘Spielberg & The light as an indicator of a supernatural presence’ (detailed below).
His musings often start in popular culture, films and art but quickly delve into art history with Renaissance paintings and Egyptian artefacts as he explains his theories.
He has a couple of highlighted stories detailing his theories about the films Gremlins and E.T. but you really need to follow him to get into his brain!
